I’ve been lovin’ this song recently. Wanted to share it with y’all. I know many of you may already know it, but I’ve found the words inspirational lately. And Nor, it has captions. I chose this particular video for you…

  1. I’ve loved this song since it came out, and a few nights ago I was trying to remember the words! Perfect!!! 🙂

  2. Yeah, I love this song too. The bridge is my favorite part.

Thanks for the thoughts on the sea! I hadn’t heard that before … bears pondering. 🙂 Love ya!

  3. Hey, Birgit. I knew you would love the photography. 😉

Hi, Tam. I really love their stuff. I get them and Mercy Me mixed up lots. Am I wrong or do they have a similar sound?

Yeah, Annie, it was a new thought to me when I heard it as well. Don’t know how it bears out exegetically.

Hey, Darla. I’ve been hearing so many different voices – it’s always good to KNOW the Truth to be set free.

    Love All Y’all!

  4. Michelle,
Hear every day on our local CCM radio station, 91.9.
The lyrics really lift me up and help me face the day.
Had I thought about you when I heard it the natural assumption would be you’d love it.
What are your thoughts on “I’m Not Who I Was” by Brandon Heath and “Be Still and Know” by Steven Curtis Chapman?
    -Sam

  5. Hadn’t made it by yet just to say hello…

So hello Michelle… Love the song.

Climbing out of the Boat… That is one of my favorite parts of the bible. HMMM…I smell a post coming on…. But not tonight.

    Anywho… Love and Peace Michell

  6. Hey, Sam! I love “I’m Not Who I Was”. I’ve wanted to tell people that I knew in earlier years, especially from high school. I thought I was doing the Lord’s work by being “holier than thou” not knowing the whole time I was a self-righteous twit. The song “Be Still and Know” was totally new to me…I think I have a new favorite!!! It’s beautiful and so worshipful. Thanks for sharing, Sam. 😉

You’re totally welcome, Debs! Hope you’re having a good week. Love you much!

Hi, Carl! I love the chorus. Although the bridge is especially nice too, can’t really hear it on the radio so well. I have to write my post for tomorrow…yikes!! Love and peace to you as well. 🙂

  7. I did. It’s a great song. Great lyrics. And I love the insight into the classic David/Goliath showdown. “…the kind of faith it takes to stand before a giant…with just a sling and a stone…”

I’ve had my share of Goliaths, that’s for sure. As have we all. But it reminds me of Ph. 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” And 2nd Cor. 12:13: “My grace is sufficient for thee, for my power is made perfect in weakenss.”

And The Voice of Truth will never let us down. 😉

    Thanks, Michelle. 🙂
